OPPORTUNITY: Web Design Services

Culture Syndicates has an exciting opportunity for a web designer to create our new website. The redesign project will involve the design, development and hosting of the website and post-launch maintenance and support. This project is kindly supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund’s Culture Recovery Fund.

The project brief can be found here: Web Design Brief.

Culture Syndicates CIC is a social enterprise which was established in 2014. We support cultural organisations to promote and widen access to their collections for audiences locally, nationally and internationally through sustainable partnership working. At the heart of our work is a commitment to building employability for emerging professionals in the heritage sector in order to develop an appropriately skilled and diverse workforce that is equipped to meet the needs of a changing sector.

Our mission is twofold:

  • Enabling culture: We support cultural organisations to achieve best practice relating to collections, audiences and workforce.
  • Building employability: We create paid developmental opportunities for emerging professionals and champion sustainable workforce development in the heritage and arts sector.

For more information about what we do, please visit the services and projects pages of our website.

The budget for this work is £6,000. Bids should be submitted to Natasha Clegg via email (natasha@culturesyndicates.co.uk) by 12pm on Wednesday 24th March 2021. We will choose the successful supplier and notify all other candidates by Friday 26th March 2021. We would like the project to begin the week commencing 29th March and would like the website to be launched as soon as possible (we will discuss reasonable timescales with the chosen supplier). Please address any questions to Natasha by 12pm on Monday 22nd March.
