Life Lines project launch

On Wednesday 18th November, the Life Lines Group launched the book that they have been working on. Dave Wilkinson, Volunteer Co-ordinator, formally presented the book to Nottinghamshire Archives with Culture Syndicates CIC. There were presentations, David gave a fantastic speech, and people had the opportunity to liaise with others interested in the project; a deservedly wonderful launch after all the hard work. The book contains historical accounts of both soldiers and people living in Nottingham during the war, detailing how it affected people in a variety of ways and personalising the history of a major global event. This undertaking offers invaluable insight into the ways in which the conflict impacted individual people and families.The launch was amazing, but it was not the end.
